Today (January 2, 2025) a bus accident occurred where a bus lost control and crashed into a car at the Pong toll booth, inbound to Pattaya, Chonburi Province. The accident occurred in front of the toll booth number 4. As a result of this incident, the barrier and the structure of the toll booth were damaged. As for the bus, there were traces of damage to the front of the vehicle. Approximately 30 passengers were injured. Currently, the Motorway Rescue is in the process of providing assistance and sending the injured to the hospital.
